Get Better Together

Semi-private lessons are a great way to improve your tennis while sharing the court with a friend, partner or another player at a similar level. You’ll still receive individual coaching and technical feedback, but with the added benefit of having another player on court for rallies, drills and point play. It’s social, practical and a more affordable way to get quality coaching.

Why Choose Semi-Private Lessons?

  • Individual Coaching — Even with two players on court, each player receives personalized feedback based on their own technique, game and areas for improvement.
  • More Live-Ball Practice — Having another player creates opportunities for realistic rallies, competitive drills and point situations that are difficult to recreate in a one-on-one lesson.
  • Learn From Each Other — Watching another player work through similar challenges can be surprisingly helpful. You get to learn both from your own coaching and from what’s happening on the other side of the court.
  • Share the Cost — Semi-private lessons give you many of the benefits of private coaching while splitting the lesson cost between two players.
  • Have Fun While You Improve — Tennis is a social game. Training with someone you enjoy playing with keeps lessons energetic, relaxed and fun while still giving you focused time to improve.

What to expect

  • Coaching for Both Players — We'll identify what each player needs to work on and make sure both of you receive individual attention throughout the lesson.
  • Technical Development — We'll continue building strong fundamentals across your groundstrokes, serve, return, volleys, movement and other areas of your game.
  • Partner Drills — You'll work through drills designed for two players, allowing you to practice technique while responding to a real ball coming from the other side of the net.
  • Rally & Point Play — As your skills develop, we can introduce more live-ball situations, patterns and points so you can apply what you're learning to actual tennis.
  • A Relaxed, Positive Environment — Expect plenty of hitting, clear feedback and a positive atmosphere. The goal is to leave the court having learned something, played a lot of tennis and had a good time doing it.
