My journey

My tennis journey started more than 20 years ago. For most of that time, I was simply someone who loved the game. I played, practiced, competed, made plenty of mistakes and, like most recreational players, was always trying to figure out how to get better.

As I've gotten older, I've actually become more interested in improving, not less. I started studying the game more seriously, taking lessons, digging deeper into technique and mechanics, and eventually became a Tennis Canada certified coach. That experience of continuing to learn and work on my own game has shaped the way I teach others.

DadTennis grew naturally out of that journey. I'm still a player, still learning and still trying to improve. My goal as a coach is simple: build strong fundamentals, keep things positive and practical, and help other players experience how rewarding it is to get better at this game.
